Chelsea vs Stoke ...

Saturday sees Chelsea entertain Stoke at the Bridge, on what is an important day for the club not only in regards to our  future but also our history. Tomorrow will mark the day that Chelsea Football Club was created 107 years ago on the 10th March 1905. Founders day has not fallen on a home match for sometime, and descendants of those men who helped create the club at the Rising Sun pub on that friday evening many years ago, will be in attendance at the game tomorrow.

Di Matteo by the looks of it has a full compliment of players to choose from, with JT pushing for a start. Bosingwa is still injured but in my opinion he will not be missed. Tomorrow will hopefully see Mata playing in behind Torres in order to get the best out of our misfiring number 9. I think we can throw away the form guide and stats for this week, Di Matteo is a new entity in charge of the team, and the team could go either explode in self belief, or implode when they realise that the buck stops at those individual performances on the pitch. My heart says we will see the senior players like Terry, Lampard and Cole burst back into life and bring this Chelsea team back up to standards, it also sees Mata and Torres igniting a partnership that could take us through strongly to the end of the season. Realisatically though we will see Drogba up front with Sturridge and Mata outwide and the whole game will be a struggle. But Three points is the only real important thing tomorrow, especially with Arsenal facing Newcastle.

Heart Prediction: 3-0
Head Prediction: 1-1

    Come on Chels!
